Zummo Z40 juicer installed in the stunning Milestone Hotel in Kensington
Zummo London has just installed a Zummo Z40 juicer in the stunning Milestone Hotel in Kensington. The Zummo Z40 ticked two important boxes for this luxurious five-star hotel: it provides the freshest pure orange juice available, and it cuts down on food waste.
The Grade II listed mansion has been a hotel since 1922, and was named after a cast iron milestone that stands outside the building. In 1998, The Milestone Hotel became part of the exclusive Red Carnation Collection of hotels, who painstakingly restored the building, creating the fabulous boutique hotel we see today.
The Red Carnation Hotel group is a family-run collection of seventeen beautiful hotels across the world, including six in London. It was founded in the 1950s by Bea Tollman, a hotelier who passionately believes in getting every detail right for her guests – and that includes food. She writes:

Another major part of Red Carnation’s ethos is to care for the environment – they famously planted a living wall at The Rubens at the Palace, another of their London hotels, setting a green standard for hotels in the city.
