Hot new London hotels and bars, including The Ned, The Mandrake and Nobu Shoreditch have made freshly-squeezed 100% pure juice a key feature of their drinks menus after installing Zummo London’s super–fast juicer the Z40 behind the bar.

The Zummo Z40 is the fastest juicer machine on the market and is able to juice 3 litres of 100% pure orange juice or 1.5 litres of lime juice in just 60 seconds.

Two Z40 machines are sited back-of-house at Soho House’s latest hotel The Ned. The 252-bedroom property, which houses nine restaurants and opened with huge interest, receives a delivery of oranges, limes and lemons five days a week to supply guests with fresh juice to drink straight or as part of a cocktail.

Other zesty newcomers, joining the likes of celebrity haunt Chiltern Firehouse and Bentley’s Oyster & Grill Bar in serving quality, freshly squeezed fruit juice, include The Connaught Hotel, whose chef orders oranges and grapefruits daily and central London boutique hotel The Trafalgar.

New London hotels The Mandrake in Fitzrovia and Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, which both opened in July, are also set to serve their guests quality juice in cocktails with a Zummo Z40 machine on hand for their top mixologists to use.

Other London outlets boasting the Zummo Z40 include Shangri-La at The Shard and Caprice & Birley Clubs’ private members’ club George.

Zummo London sales director Mark Riley said: “The Zummo Z40 is not only the fastest juicer machine on the market, the vertical squeezing system means it gets the maximum amount of juice from each fruit, so it’s no surprise that the capital’s top hotel bars recognise the benefits of having one installed.

“Whether they need fresh lime juice for a mojito, grapefruit juice for a Paloma or a glass of 100% pure orange juice, London’s best bartenders know they will be able to access what they need and fast with the Zummo Z40.”

Zummo London also installed a Zummo Z06 machine – designed for more moderate use – at Caffe Concerto at Westfield London in Shepherds Bush and due to its success there is set to install machines at other branches within the 20-strong Caffe Concerto Group, including at Westfield Stratford and Piccadilly.
